From day one I thought it could have been a Wonder Woman series.

And how about Catherine-Zeta- Jones?

Lucy Lawless would have been a great idea about 10 years ago. She stills looks great for her age, but to able to sustain a reasonably long running show she'd have to stay that way for another 5 to 10 years.

Catherine Z Jones doesn't have the physique.

Maybe the producers should be a little more creative and look outside the regular Hollywood milieu.

I'll have to agree that she doesn't make a good Wonder Woman at all, but it'd be hard to find someone who does. WW needs to be physically imposing AND strikingly beautiful at the same time...

WW needs to be physically imposing AND strikingly beautiful at the same time (not to mention a good/intelligent actress), Adam Hughes in my opinion nailed the look of Wonder Woman, she should look like this:
