I saw it as well if you care to know. I have a feeling you won't like it. The love story and origin is what works the most in this film and if Emma Stone doesn't work for you then she probably won't work in the actual movie either...
If you loved the origin in the first film this will feel very redundant (not just the origin is similar, entire storybeats seem to be retreads from all the previous entries).

I've been championing this film quite a bit, but in the end only found "pretty good" as a whole. I loved individual moments though, which is why I might see it again. But it's not nearly the homerun I wanted it to be.

I'll go more in depth tomorrow, when I'm not typing on my phone. We'll probably need a seperate reviews/discussion thread anyway.

I just came home from watching it.
It was so AWESOME!!
Andrew Garfield is a perfect Peter Parker, I usually hate Emma Watson but she was quite good in this and the soundtrack somehow reminded me of movie-soundtracks like Back To The Future (not Huey Lewis but the orchestral soundtrack ).
I could have lived without it being in 3D though but that's just me generally hating 3D ..
I loved it so much I don't want to see the Sam Raimi Spidey ever again... nah, that would be too excessive
