First official Spiderman movie costume pic

Actually, I don't recall anything official about what universe they were basing this off of. I think the bloggers and internet peeps were just posting what they figured it was going to be based off and people just went with it. We still have no 100% confirmation that he's in high school (though I think the shots of him on the bleachers with Gwen kinda answer that). At first it was high school, then the rumor went around that it was college after they cast Garfield because he was older (28) than what they originally planned on, but now it looks like it's back to high school. But again, I'm just restating what I heard others say, nothing is official from Sony or Marvel.

Technically, Spider-Man 1 was more Ult Spidy than this is since MJ was the first girl introduced, yet in this one, it's Gwen. I have a feeling they're just gonna pull from both universes and try to come up with the best story they think they can.

i like it. if the characters/script is good enough, then this is definitely passable. if the script sucks, then the best costume/character design means nothing.

The anatomy is wonky. His arm looks broken in that first pic and it's not a very dynamic runing pose. Oh, wait...

That's supposedly just a stunt costume, which is why there are metal things on the feet, kinda like those giant feet in the Captain America pics which came out a while ago when he was running down the street "barefoot".

The typical fanboy Squeal when the costume looks like ass. The stunt guys wear the same costume as the actor because the they are masked they can do close ups so why would they be in different costumes. The picture can't show all the details like a professional still can, it's just some guy with his handy dandy trusty digicam. Don't make excuses for this pile of dung they are passing off as a spiderman costume.

My thoughts exactly, looks like they're making the eyes smaller for this version, but unlike the Hammond costume there won't be a pair of mirrored aviator lenses stitched into it (though I kind of thought that was an ingenious solution at the time...)

I didn't say the design was going to change, just mentioning why the foot things were on it. I know it's gonna be the same pattern and I'm fine with it. Still looks like Spider-Man to me.

Looks like a girls track suit or worse it looks like a blue person wearing red garters and garter belts with a red trampstamp. Once you muck with the costume there goes the movie. Bad decisions begat more bad choices.
