A very good friend of mine was killed

last night a very good friend of mine was killed in a car crash.he and i have worked in the same steel fab shop for 25 yrs.he was hired i week before me.Mike was a kickass guy ,back in early 90's he found i like to "scribble "as he put.so he had me design a
bunch of tattoos for him.by the yr 2000 he had his arm sleeved with my art and part of his shoulder.mike was a great dad and had more kids than i have.he had just gotten married this last Saturday. some times at lunch at work he would ask to see my sketchbook. he also was the guy that rolled my steel fire ring some of you may have seen.Rolling and bending steel was his skill at the shop.
he was one of the people that encouraged me to find an art site online.told be bout devinart.on da he was" steelmule".
I am very sad right now and will miss the guy.

Sorry to hear that. I lost my dad suddenly, and anytime my wife's a little late coming home I get paranoid that she got in an accident. I can't even imagine what that would be like.

I'm sorry for your loss and also glad that you did enjoy the priviledge of this man's friendship while you had it. He sounds like an amazing friend and a guy who left the world better off for having had him here.

My thoughts and prayers will be with his family tonight... and with you as well. I've lost some friends, but the length of your relationship and the time you spent together... I can't imagine how hard that is.

Sorry to hear this BH, I can't imagine what its like to loss someone that close. Its like lossing a family member but worse sometimes. I lost a grandmother in May and my wife's grandmothers sister died yesterday. I'm glad you decided to share this with us here at PJ, we mean enough to you to share with you in this time of loss.
