The overacting was bothering me abit, but I still liked it.Last edited by 50%grey; 11-01-2010, 12:59 AM.“Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” ― Andy Warhol

I loved the premiere. Will be watching the rest. Hopefully it does well so they sign it for more seasons.

they did a good job i thought-entertaining and obviously had a big budget. the acting is overall fine-the lead is providing strong work here(even when trapped with clumsy dialogue/lame scenes). it does get a bit sentimental/soft headed at times and of course we know certain things-sheriff's wife and kid will of course be alive/she will be involved with friend/sheriff will not die/sheriff will meet back up with wife and kid. i guess the main problem with opener is when the sheriff(fresh from the hospital) first meets the black dude and kid dont you think at some point he would have asked him 'oh yeah btw wtf happened..why are zombies everywhere etc...?'.

Watched it last night.. WOOHOO!!!! I am excited. Hands down, this is my show, and I'm pumped it comes on Sundays so I know I can actually watch it.
I feel for anyone that didnt get to see it last night, they had an encore showing right after it aired.
The zombies are off the f'n chain, this feels like a movie and not a series. and the lack of music in this show makes it even more creepy.www.kevinsteward.blogspot.com

Man, that was intense. VERY faithful to the comic in just about every way. Completely immersive - just like Mad Men, they really built out an entire world that's completely believable. At the end of the night, I double-checked all of the door locks - just in case.
Couldn't stop thinking about it last night and the it was the first thing I thought about as I awoke. I'm sure I had some crazy dreams.
