I like how they wore protective vests when they were worried their might be zombies but did nothing to protect their arms and legs, which have been shown to get bitten way more in the series.

^ Don't forget in season 1 there were using rocks and hopping fences.
Great episode! Not nearly as heart stopping as the comics version of the attack, but I did like the Walker van.
Hopefully Tyreese's group will shelter any stragglers after the inevitable fall of the prison.
they established in season one you don't have to get bit to turn. they found out when shane was shot and he turned that they all have the disease. so, maybe the cops in full riot gear had died of other causes.

Solid episode. My favorite parts in this series is when something unexpected happens and you get to watch Rick and the group react and try to stay alive. Very tense moments and can really engross me in the "reality" of the show.
anyone reading the trade paperbacks? I am on the third one and they are addicting. they don't have splash pages where one issue ends and the next begins so i end up reading and waiting for a stopping point only to find i read like three issues worth because the action never ends. good writing.

The character episodes always find a way to disappoint. Either there's no zombie killing or one (or several) of the characters end up doing something ridiculous. They're starting to find a balance for them, though.
I like how Carol was holding the baby and then just calmly went like, "Andrea, you're gonna have to **** the shit out of him then kill him in his sleep if you don't want us to die."
