I love how they have used Carl's cowboy costume as a metaphor. At the beginning of this, his cowboy costume seemed very much the toy. As he has had this horrific journey, he has transformed into full fledged, bad ass cowboy. Though he is no boy. He is very much a man.

Finally watched it tonight. Great episode. The best of the season, hell, the best of the last two seasons. And yeah, I cried too.
Then I let out a "WHOO-HOO!!!" to celebrate the demise of my least favorite character. And it wasn't T-Dog.Money can't buy you happiness, but it will pay for the search.Comment

It seems like they're overloading it with shit that doesn't need to be there just to appease the fans of the comic. First (that I can remember) it was Carl shooting Shane as a zombie, then it was that flash to the prison, and now it's starting the phone thing too early for it to have as much of an impact as it did in the comic. It seems like it's too early in the show for Rick to start going insane...
I'm not saying it should be completely faithful to the comic, but if they're gonna throw in stuff to make it faithful to it, they should put in more care when doing it or completely diverge from it.Comment
