Wow. I can't believe nobody got to this already:

Here is the first ever set pic from AMC's Walking Dead series. Plus go inside Frank Darabont's zombie school. Just slapping on some terrifying makeup will not cut it. All zombie extras must attend a rigorous zombie-schooling process.

None of this crappy run-of-the-mill makeup effects here... lots of decomposition in that one.

Super nice! Though they had to do that zombie right. That one plays an important role in the story early on. They got it spot on too.

Is that the "GAK!" zombie from the first issue? I like the zombie school. It seems like they're being real thorough. The sound cue part was creepy to watch even without their make-up. Is that Jacon at 2:40? Man that dude shows up everywhere!

Yeah, the bit about the "zombie exercises" from 2:00 on is neat to see. I especially like the "getting out of a chair" bit, the guy second from the right does a thing with one leg that I'd never thought of, but which totally works.

It's very cool that they're taking this extra level of care to do it well, rather than just cattle-calling a bunch of extras on the day shoot, slapping makeup on 'em and saying "you're a zombie. Don't look at the cameras".

This is looking awsome. Could be the most hardcore thing ever on television.
It's not your fault, it's mine, because I forgot you are stupid.

Um. I do. I'm looking forward to it.
I hope he made out well on it, but I'll be tuning in the night it airs.

No worries, man. i'm being well provided for.
i'm pretty ecstatic about the whole thing.
Seeing these images come to life is a very surreal experience, to say the least.

Hey Tony. Was there a conscious effort to make the zombies look like your artwork. Some of them look like your drawings come to life.

And justice, you seem to care a lot about making sure people know you don't care.
