The email has been back up. But it was out on the day of skullone's last sign-in here, and sometimes he sends it early. It may be a work email, so he may not have gotten my message. Anyway, we'll go ahead and call it a No-Show. If it turns out he sent something, I suppose we'll just call the match a tie and adjust the ranks accordingly.

Wait, where's the fair treatment in that? It's way past the deadine, yet for some reason, we have to wait for Skullone to respond, as if he gets special treatment. Pete's argument is that he has a long track record of never missing a match, and if that's the case, there's no reason to believe that he doesn't know that the deadline is the 25th.

When I sent in my entry through the mail last month, I informed that I did so through the monthly thread. AgedPepper sent in his entry through the e-mail this month and informed everyone in the monthly thread also. Skullone did no such thing, so we should assume that he's a No-Show.

I'm all for a fair match and for fair rules, but this doesn't seem fair.

I think he should be considered a No-Show and if it does turn out that he sent in his entry before, then we should take it to the polls and not automatically declare a tie and adjust the ranking. That isn't fair.

It's my fault the email account was down for a few days, not either of yours. I apologize for that. I just forgot about the Pummel email. If the forum software weren't so flaky, as well as some of the image hosting sites sometimes, I'd drop the Pummel email thing in a heartbeat and say it's your responsibility to find a way to get your entry up. As it is, I don't mind providing an email and hosting your image on my DeviantArt account if you need me to.

Yeah, that seems totally fair. I'm not against him presenting his entry, I just don't think it's fair to automatically call it a tie if he does. I think that'll open the door to a bunch of other mishaps that'll make things harder to handle. If he does present it, then we can do as you say and find a reasonable solution for both parties, I'm open for any discussions.

Thanks again for hearing me out, I can imagine how stressful it might be having to manage such a large website and I don't want to add to the burden. Thank you for all the help you give to everyone on the site. It's highly valued and I'd hate to discourage you from continuing to provide such an incredible support as you have been. As you say, right now the situation is moot, so let's just move on and see what happens. Hopefully Skullone is doing well and isn't going through any troubling times, that would suck. But yeah, thanks again!
