Here's my entry vs. Plog

Seeing this on a bigger screen is now one of my new missions in life. This is an amazing level of detail, though I do hope people click on it to enlarge it to see it full size or they will be losing half the detail. I hope Plog really brings it ... this could be a match for the ages.

I'm very sure that Plog will be very motivated to bring it. To be honest when I got the subject I went into this thinking I'd more than likely lose, since it is definitely outside of my comfort zone and smack in the center of one of his big areas of strength. But I really enjoy those kinds of challenges. I just wanted to do something that would give him a run for his money, and maybe in the process broaden my horizons. That's the part I like most about Pummel.

I'm glad you guys dig it. I'm excited to see what Matt's up to.

Dear friends,

It is with regret that I must not only admit defeat for this month, but very respectfully bow out of PUMMEL.

It's not that I haven't produced anything, far from it. In fact, over the past months I've been able to produce very interesting stuff, of which I am very proud. I have to bow out because my art is becoming something more, and I can't let PUMMEL take me away from it anymore. Add to it that my wife is still without a job, and that I have to take on more work on the side to help us, and it simply becomes a matter of prioritizing. PUMMEL used to be one of those priorities, because it made me grow so much, but I have to be the grown-up now and focus elsewhere.... for now.

For record-keeping's sake, I'll update my stats and rankings accordingly for an eventual return, but I can't confirm when that would be.

Thanks for the support, all. You guys are a great big source of inspiration and drive. I'll see you around that corner.

I want to apologize to my competition this month. My wife's father was in the hospital with heart problems and we left town two days ago when he went in I just got back in town. I normally wouldnt no show especially without a heads up on it.
