If you guys consider my situation an emergency or not that is up to you. My electric was turned off and I had to drive all over creation to get this piece in here. I an posted it here just to show I had one whether or not you include it. The prelim has been done for at least ten days, I put a lot of effort into it. I was going to color it but with the lake of electric I didn't get to. (Not my strong suit anyway) The last two times I did pummel the deadline was the 25 I thought, I consider myself schooled on the deadline. Next month I'll make sure I turn it in really early. I warn my opponent that I can not get on a computer saturday or sunday if you send me a topic just start on it I will get the topic on monday and roll with it.

I am game, even if if doesn't count and you get the forfeit. My stomach has been turning since I saw my mistake. It is miserable to live in a house with no electic when the temp is 95 and 100% humidity. I can only draw in the day because of the light (not my best time ) and the pages are wet from the humidity. Would kill me to have the work go to waste.

I did find out one good thing today though. Usually, Since I work with 11-17 pages, I get my pages reduced at Staples because they have better self serve copiers than kinkos. They I scan in on my regular size scanner. Since I couldn't do that I thought I was going to have to find a Kinkos so get this put on disk. I asked the copy girl at Staples and they were able to put the image on my flash. For less even. They apparently have been able to for 6-7 years. I feel like a bit of a dumbass......more then normal

Even though I'm inbetween places as far as living situations go, I'd like to throw in my hat for next month if possible. Looks like this division needs me anyway....LOL

While I can sympathize with your plight, Armstrong, it would be a bad call to let that poll count. It would be opening up a can of shit that I don't think needs to be opened in PUMMEL. Just my two cents. It is Juggertha's call, so who knows.

Whatever happens I'm cool with. I'm disappointed that Armstrong didn't just post this up 10 days ago when he had it finished and we could have avoided all this trouble.

Armstrong, I'm glad that you got this piece up, and it's pretty clear to everyone that you not only put effort into the piece, but also into getting it here. The truth is, I sympathize with your plight. I'm dealing with a massive heat/humidity wave myself, and can't imagine not having A/C.

That being said, I don't think I'm going to allow this as a legit poll. From the looks of the poll, you're heading for a loss, so to be honest, my decision won't really make a difference to your rankings. But, it's a matter of holding to the rules.

Please be sure to check the deadline date next time... or better yet - and this goes to everyone - get it done early!

I feel ya. cans of worns are only good for fishing. So as a rule of thumb, the pieces are always due on Sundays? I dont know why I missed that. It was more the, no electic, that made me late, since i couldn't check the date. Anr my dumb ass thought I had time to find the library and get the thing scanned. would have taken me minutes if I had power. So I would have seen everyone posting and the messages i was getting.

You think no no AC is bad try combinding that with no hot water. Pee uuu
