Grand Championship - February- Rock and Roll

ok, now if this one's been done before (recently) stop me now, cause i've memory for shite. I'd like everyone to bring the metal, heavy metal that is, rock and or roll. A picture in some fashion featuring, portaiting, idolizing, or in some other wording badasserizing all those who rock. Can make something up, like the enterprise crew doing Devo. Follow something that's been made up, like mufuqin Gem or Rock and Rule. Or take your inspiration from those bands you play for hours on end while staring at a blank sheet of paper. I know a subject like this may not help attendance too much, but i think people can bring some really unique pieces if they think it over.

Just remember, i said "Rock", that would imply something solid. No emo or i start shootin:P

In truth, do what moves ya:P

Well, I'm planning on doing an album cover- if you slap a band logo on it- I don't see why not. PLOG- any thoughts from you?

The way you draw you could put up a three legged squirrel eating a hoagie and not catch any flak. For what it's worth I think it fits perfectly. The line "Or take your inspiration from those bands you play for hours on end...." makes for a pretty open ended topic. Nice interpretation of the song by the way.

This is my entry for this month's Grand Championship: The METAL. An Homage to the Tenacious D song of the same title. Also my first completely digitally colored pic. (Not that thrilled with it, but gotta start somewhere, I guess.)

Thanks, caseycp! The version I uploaded was actually 1024 pixels across, so I'm not sure if it is the new forum software that is cutting it to 600 pixels/wide or if it is Photobucket? I'll have to look into it and see if I can upload a 800 pixel wide version and see if that makes a difference?
