I thought about the subject for January's Grand Championship and decided on (drum roll ) "MYTHOLOGY". Any subject from any world Mythology is okay, the more epic and amazing the better.

Nice job on the artwork everyone!
Here's my entry this month: Bellerophon Slays the Chimera.
Based on an exciting tale from Greek Mythology. The Chimera was supposed to have the head of a Lion, the body of a Dragon, a snake for a tail and a goat-head sticking out of it's body, and it breathed fire.


Drew this at 10x15 inches on 2 ply bristol board with inks done in dip pens and colors done with watercolors and colored pencils.
