Challenge: Visually redesign the Martian Manhunter. To clarify, that means don't give him any new powers or anything -- just make visual changes. For example, you might want to make facial or body changes, totally alter his costume - or predict how he'd be handled if he was transferred to the big screen. Its up to you.

Tough one

Four artworks appealed to me the most for various reasons.

Beastie, Darth Geek, Ridge, and TDCJason's.

I chose TDCJason's for the original character design but props to everyone, especially Ridge, who went the extra mile.

Awesome work across the board.

Many fine entries! Had to go with Ridge. Retro TV FTW!

There's some mighty fine entries here. I really dug the rendering on Dri's piece, Beastie's was awesome in his own inimitable style, and Darth_geek's cracked me up.

But in the end I went with Ridge just because the presentation was very creative and original, and because he did an excellent job on the likenesses. However, as an old dude who grew up in the 1970s, Double Stuff Oreo cookies didn't come out until well into that decade. It's actually one of my fondest childhood memories.
