Boy, whoever said there wasn't a poll sure was dumb!
Have to go with dfbovey on this one for the amazing background. You're both awesome, though.
This'll be the 3rd match between g0b1in and I. I appreciate him taking time to do this even though his holiday schedule was hectic.
Topic was any characters from Invincible

Thanks!
Didn't forget the poll. It takes a moment or two to create the poll after you hit the submit thread button.

Honestly, Dave, I think you deserved a much better match than I was capable of delivering this month.
Always a pleasure. Your entry is great!

Gave it to bovey eventhough Invincible and Conquest are giants in this comp.
I went with Dave's.
Goblin's is good -- and I appreciate the homage to the 'original Superman pose' - but Bovey's just has so much more going on.

Gotta respect clean lines and badass perspective (both).
But that fighter jet action, and the bold, daring move of having Invincible turn his back to us, but facing all that rushing action... Dave got mine.

Former Champ, hungry for love.
I decided to go with Bovey on this. Both had great perspective and composition but Bovey's clean line-work and the sheer scale that he depicted the action with pushed him to the top of this match.
g0b1in's piece took a much safer route but lacked the drastic visual appeal of Bovey's. Great work, no doubt, but it just lacked the edge needed for this one.
-- Nice stuff from you both. You continue to inspire.
