Okay ... so this just has to be it for me ... things slid down hill last night. So I just have to be done at this point.
Pigeon, Anthony ... you guys hit this out of the park ... and you both have all of my respect for your compassion and class.

Anytime man. I know how things go down sometimes. It's only right to give consideration to people when they truly need it.

I can tell you what mine is missing...dynamics...and my line weights are too weak as well. damn I gotta pay attention to that.
I wasn't happy with the pose and agains those buildings its just flat.
I should had pushed the angle with the bg. Anthony nailed the emotion along with a good perspective pulled it off. If he could had finished the details, that would had been a total ass beating for us.![]()
Shawn great piece luv the action! pigeonmilk u got some nice stuff goin on in yours too(maybe the inks flattened it too much i know my inks always kill my pencils) but Anthony u got the great perspective that shows the feelin of falling and i like your lil cars!
yeah, i wasn't happy with this peice at all. I always have issues with the image looking flat and I just don't know why
Lineweight variation. Making one line go from thick to thin to give what you're drawing a little extra form will do wonders. You have it going on in some places but it's not consistent. Also be sure that your lines get thinner on things you draw in the background. Thicker lineweights in the foreground instantly push those items forward in your compsition. So if you have thick lineweights in the background those items will compete for dominance.

im using rapidograph pens for inking and they suck for creating lineweight naturally.
Thanks for the info DB, I totally see what you mean, and I think that was a huge problem here on this peice for me.
