    Really excellent entry Inkthinker.
Saw on DA that you thought it was hurting for lack of a background but I find the clean white space really appealing as is.

I'm usually a big fan of Dogsoldier, but I think Inkthinker dusted him here.

Inkthinker, that is a very impressive piece. A great sense of movement and narrative in it. And I LOVE the little shadows from the webbing and the octopus arm. They create an entire background in wonderfully minimalist fashion.
Dogsoldier, you have done well, but you may have met your match!

Both are good... I like Dogsoldier's line up, but Ink takes it to a different plateau with the dynamic action portrayed.

Another big fan of Dogsoldier, but I had to go with Ink on this one too. Just really great action and I can almost see the panels before and after this one in my head thanks to everything that's going on here. A true illustration in that regard.

There are only a few things I don't care for in InkThinker's piece (motion lines on Spidie's feet), but it just has so much more life to it than Dogsoldier's hero shot -granted a very beautiful hero shot. So I went with Inkthinker.

both are really awesome in their own way. Whoever wins...we lose because they both make your own stuff look like crap
