Thread: Help Settle a Debate - Batman VS Rorschach

  1. #21
I'd put money on Gordon beating Rorschach, let alone Batman. As bad-ass as the Schach Attack may be, he's just not up to Batman's level.

Lol - I'm pretty sure Rorschach could take Gordon...

In Watchmen, Ozymandias was supposed to be at the peak of physical fitness and all that blah-blah and he whupped Rorschach with ease. No contest at all.
Check out the new Vanguard web comic site.

Batman is a master in hand to hand fighting. Even though Rorschach is supposed to be really strong, Batman has defeated far stronger and better.

Rawshark would win when it comes to cool monologues.

I'm too lazy to see if any one else has addressed this obvious misnomer. Rorschach is short in the movie, but over 6' in the comic. Plus he's got group affiliations that far surpass the abilities of Batman's group affiliations.( now there's a poll for you, Dr. Manhattan vs. Superman!) I still vote Batman.

I think there is a great misconception on Batman. While in some of the comics he does take on multiple fighters and he knows a lot of techniques, he is still human. He gets tired (or should), he gets hurt and he feels pain. Some writers take the "mythos" of Batman to an extreme (Frank Miller) to where he just seems like Wolverine with a healing factor and such.
Rorshach is a brutal fighter. He has no qualms about killing. He will use a brick, a knife or just about anything he has. He is also an intelligent fighter who plans ahead (see the prison sequence). Batman is physically stronger and probably a better fighter. This would be a tough fight for him. In the end, I would stick with Batman, but this is not like Batman fighting with his pinkies or sneezing on the guy to win.

Ozymandias versus Batman would be more interesting. Batman would lose (I think). But it could be 50/50 either way.

Either way, neither Batman or Ozymandias would beat Brian (Liam Neeson) from the movie TAKEN.

In my eyes Ro is more bad than Batman, more evil in his head, more bloody so does not fight by any rules and Batman has a few.
