New Ultimates

In the beginning there were the first three Ultimates, then came the Ultimate Avengers, and now there will be the New Ultimates. Stories are by Jeph Loeb and penciled by Frank Cho and they are gonna be doing this like a big budget movie just like the original Ultimates. So here’s what I know so far, the team will consist of Cap, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Valkyrie, Zarda, and perhaps Ka-Zar, Shanna, and the REAL Black Panther. I haven’t heard if Thor will returning, cause he surrendered his soul, but not entirely dead. The idea is almost wat they wanted to do when the New Avengers were created, keep core characters but introduce different characters to the team. One story plot is the return of Loki along with trolls, frost giants, and dragons invading Manhattan. This book will not cross over to the Ultimate Avengers, at least not for a while. Now while this all seems cool, there are some things I am going to be picky about.

Ok, first is the new armor for Iron Man. IT’S THE SAME AS THE MOVIE’S ARMOR. Don’t get me wrong, I love that armor, but keep it in the movie, stop putting it in ALL the comics! War Machine had an original armor in the Avengers Initiative, but when he gets his own comic his armor becomes the Movie Armor. One of the things I loved was how original the ultimate armors were and now, IDK.

The next thing I’m gonna pick at is Hawkeyes new costume, HE LOOKS LIKE THE KILLER FROM WANTED. While I love the costume, it belongs on Wesley, not Clint Barton.

Lastly, Valkyrie…She looks like Thor. And that’s all I’m gonna say
