I'm definitely going to finish it. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to paint it or if I'm going to pencil it and then ink it. It's been a while since I've inked and I could stand to kick the rust off.

Really creepy especially because it is life sized! The bunchy eyes are awesome.

I love how youve really built the character in the wrinkles and facial contortions they are more foreboding than even the fangs . I would really love to see a finished pencil , and an inked , and a painted version ( but I am just being a greedy fan )

Looks good, man! You might add a few crinkles to his nose, Dave. His eyes seem kind of far apart, but I think that actually works to give him more of a monster-like feel. The eye socket wrinkles makes it for me.

He seems to have a very small forehead, but thats just me (probably)...

and the crinkles under the eye's really do make the picture, I kind of hope you add more wrinkles to the forehead and nose region...hell maybe even some veins popping out...

but as usual, I can't wait to see the finished product whether you decide to paint o ink this...

One thing I've noticed is that his teeth don't seem to be in line with the centre of his face.

If I follow his filtrum down from the centre of the bottom of his nose (and through the centre of his top lip), I'm met by 'a single tooth' slap bang in the centre. For it to be correct, that should actually be the line/gap between his 'two front teeth'.

Even if you allowed for the fact that his teeth are slightly recessed in his mouth - it's still 'too off'.

Its like his top row of teeth are facing us flat on - but the rest of the image is at an angle.

So....I hope I explained what I mean clearly

It'll be interesting to see how you decide to go with this....

Thanks all! I widdled away on this a bit more. I haven't has as much time as I would like to work on it. I may end up doing pencils with an ink wash. Fixed the teeth. Should have an hour or two to work on it tonight.
