Thread: if Batman lived in the marvel universe who would be his best friend...

  1. #1

if Batman lived in the marvel universe who would be his best friend...

if Batman lived in the marvel universe who would be his best friend...besides his sidekicks. in the dc universe its superman.

i get the feeling that bats chooses his friends versus letting it happen.

its obviously Ironman, they'd be rich snobby drinking buddies.

    I'd say Daredevil.

He'd be one of the first to recognize that Bruce Wayne is Batman and they have somewhat similar and tragic origins. Plus they both have the same goals of trying to clean up a heavily crime-ridden city and both are pretty serious and dour crime-fighters. I could easily see them be drinking buddies and being glum about their dead fathers and borking hot female villians. Matt being an attorney is even a bigger bonus and could provide advice on legal matters. It's like they were meant to be together!

Ah ... see they have already kind of done this. Cap is the most logical choice. Cap has the same value system as Batman, at least deep down, and that plus the fact that Cap is the Marvel "boy scout" (Supes is the DC one), and well there you go.

Now if you are talking Dick Grayson's Batman, then his best friend would be the Black Cat ... lol.

Batman has no friends, only "assets". Though he could probably start a crazy millionaire's club with Stark and Marc Spector's "Steven Grant" alias. They'd be like the superhero Rat Pack.

Probably Captain America. They'd probably swap Bucky and Robin stories, and recipes...and stories about boys...

I think Bats would disapprove of Moon Knight actually. The craziness would probably be too reminiscent of Azrael.

The guy most like Batman in his approach is Cyclops, I reckon.

    You've all got it wrong.

His penchant for young boys in bright and gaudy costumes means that he'd spend most of his time hanging with Power Pack.
