Green Lantern WIP

DAMN I haven't posted in a while xD. i cant believe i missed out on the green lantern challenge T_T. oh well.

im working on the fist right now, might extend it to the whole arm. comments or critiques?

you might wanna consider adding some faint highlight to the outside of his left eye. Since it's so deep in shadow and all we see is the highlighted part, it's creating a bit of an illusion that his left eye is too far to the right. That or maybe put the faint lighting on the underside of his left eye's brow. Similar but much fainter thatn what you have going on over his right eye.

That's all though. That was the only shape that wasn't reading too clear for me. Always tricky when working with so much shadow, but yer pulling it off so far.

The one thing are the eyes, when light is bright like that here pin points,but in this pic his pupils are massive, almost alien like. Also it that a photo manipulated hand?

@archerion: i didnt even bother painting pupils here... so its basically completely iris. and yeah, thats a pic of my hand i took solely from layout planning/reference purposes only. ive painted the whole arm right now sorry if it was a screw up :/

im not sure what else to do, its almost done. im thinking of putting the green lantern oath in the background, but im not sure what i should do with the symbol, because it looks kind of... plain?

My only beef again is the eyes and also the Placement of the ring. Should be foward a bit instead of the knuckle.

i took your advice and decided to paint in the eye... and i like it better

this is probably the finished product right now... i decided not to have the oath in the background because it seems too cliché now :/
