Good stuff, this was a tough one.
I went with alfred, mostly for more dynamic panel compositions throughout, even if he did seem to lose a little steam on page 3 (The Lizard in panel 1 in particular).
Kris has done alot of really nice work here but I found some elements too distracting (the ceiling in page 1 and Spidey's blobby fingers in panel 5 of page 3) and although his action scenes were great they didn't really play with angle of view as much as alfred did.
Page 1
I like Alfred's poses more, but Kris has the better background so you can readily tell it's a pet store without having to rely on colors
Edge: Kris
Page 2
Panel1: Neither really show the Lizard getting kicked in the back of the head, but I like Kris' transition to the somersault flip better.
Edge: Kris
Panel 2: Kris shows the toy display more clearly, but I like the inclusion of the Spidey-sense on Alfred's.
Edge: Alfred
Panel 3: Kris' panel is wider and showing more detail, but I think the fact that Spidey is trying to calm the Lizard down comes across more effectively in Alfred's.
Edge: Alfred
Panel 4: These are both great panels, but the extra little addition of the webs in Kris' panel helps sell the drama.
Edge: Kris
Page 3
Panel 1: Again Kris is showing more detail here, but I like Alfred's panel more. It looks like a stronger, more dynamic punch.
Edge: Alfred
Panel 2: Both of you handled this panel pretty well, but Alfred emphasized the woman that was "freaked out".
Edge: Alfred
Panels 3-5:Both of you handled this series of panels effectively.
Edge: Tie
Panel 6: Again both panels stick to the script and are effective.
Edge: Tie
This Tally is pretty even, but I'm going to give Kris the edge overall and my vote, because he left plenty of space for word balloons and caption boxes.
Good job guys.

both sets are amazing , ( I wouldnt worry so so much about word bubble placing , after all letterers are artists also and have their own sets of challenges ) I actually had to go back to the script and look at it from that point of view .. I would have to give it to Kris by a smidge . Awesome turn out for both of you for three days time .
Yeah, but that would be really selfish on the penciller's part if he willingly robbed the letterer of room to give himself more illustration space. It would really just come back and bite the penciller in the butt since the lettering pretty much has to go inside the panel and would end up covering some of the precious art.

I liked Kris' better...then again I'm probably his biggest fan.
Only thing that I thought was odd in Kris' was that in page 2 Lizard leaps at Spidey from inside the store and the uppercut knocks him back to the outside of the store. Other than that, his pencils are beautiful and his pacing is excellent.
What's deadliest warrior?
