I'd hesitate to call several of the films in the poll action movies, though if I were forced to choose one of the above options (which I didn't), I'd probably go with either Die Hard or The Matrix.

i chosed out of all those the matrix trilogy, , "The Bourne trilogy" is not in the polls ??, last action movie i saw that i would rate as top notch is "Taken"

I split my life into two categories. my life before I saw Die Hard and my life after I saw Die Hard. I died a little on the inside seeing the matrix movies winning and die hard tied with star trek.
but how does my boy John J. Rambo Not even make the list...Rambo:First Blood Part 2 is the ultimate action movie. Stallone lays waste to all of vietnam with seven explosive tip arrows and a dead chicken!
I lol'd when I saw Harry Potter on the list. I never thought of it as an 'action' movie, even though I'm a big fan of the series.
Anyways, my vote was for 300. I can't tell you how badly I wanted to be a Spartan every time I watched it. It's so epic. I love me a good historic war movie.
Seven Samurai isn't on there.
I guess I'll vote for the Matrix. Only the first one, though.
