Given what I call an action film and these choices I went with Die Hard for the consistant cool films.

My favorite action movie was not listed. John Woo's Hard Boiled, followed by Fulltime Killer by Johnnie To. As far as the above list, I am not sure I would include the Harry Potter series in the annals of high impact "action" films.
