Whats your favorite action movie?

I love action movies, unfortunately I couldn't fit them all so I went with the crowd and put the comic book type action. I wanted to put some others like Lucky # Slevin and that kind of action also but I went to the comic books. I chose the Matrix Trilogy. It is still real good and gets you thinking. That doesn't mean I don'y like any of the other movies though, they're great! If I had to pick a second one it would be the Dark Knight.

The Die Hard Trilogy is better than all of the others.Than it's the Batman Begins/The Dark Knight, Matrix trilogy,Terminator,Indiana Jones,X-men,Alein,Predator,AVP,Starwars,James Bond and Lots more.

I like how the Terminator "trilogy" includes the fourth one.

The first movie's good, the third one's okay, and I haven't seen the fourth one, but Terminator 2 is my favorite action movie of all time. Everything else comes second.

EDIT: Also, the James Bond trilogy? There's like twenty movies. I don't think you know what the word "trilogy" means.

Was there any action in I am Legend? I only remember myself fighting boredom and massive irritation at how crappy it was.

And my vote has gotta go with die hard. Die hard was a perfect action movie and its commitment to quality sequels has never disappointed me.

If you can do four movies that are all good then I think you've really got something. Sequel movies of high quality are such a rarity and should be appreciated when they come along.

ANd yeah Trilogy means three parts. I think only three of your "trilogy" are actually trilogies.

And, NickGuy, Die Hard did NOT invent action movies. What about Lethal Weapon? What about Aliens? What about Raiders of the Lost Ark? All of those and a lot more preceded Die Hard and were great action films. Don't get me wrong, Die Hard trumps ALL of those films... I'm just saying Die Hard didn't invent action films, NickGuy.

neither did i...i said "pretty much", as in, i dont remember anyone really coining the phrase or talking about "action movies" till die hard...but then again i was a kid when those came out, so...
