Damn and i thought i had talent
really like yours scott, the yellow paper kind of ruins it for me but what really wrecks it is that werewolf flying he just throws the entire composition off balance. But you still got my vote.
Broken, I rather like it but I liked it alot more in the pencil stage, your art always loses something when you ink it to me, no offence its just something I've noticed.

I do have to agree with TK a bit, you might wanna experiment with some other inking methods. They usually seem to be penned or hard nib inks? I hated the brush when i started, but i'm truly a fan now....though my inks still suk.
For this DO it's a really hard call. Bh has a nice piece, pretty ambitious imop, but it losing a little for the inking and some anatomy/layout issues. Scott's got a nice piece as well. I'm really a fan of his BBW's face, but the rest of the figures don't carry that through. Ultimately i think i'll have to award this one based on effort, being that i find the pieces fairly comparable otherwise.
Good work guys. If someone has to write a paragraph to weedle out a winner, then i think you've both done right.

Sketchy or otherwise, Ewen's piece is the better here.

I'm not real familiar with fables, but both you guys work has got my curiousity up and running. Broken, that is a tight piece! I think if you would have split the furry guys up and used more spacing in the furry lines to indicate their hairy texture (sort of the way you did the beard on the middle guy) it would have zinged even more! Scott, love your work man, I would like to see your finishes there.
