Well, guys you need to separate rules from the discussion part to keep the no. of pages to minimum. Just a friendly suggestion.

Does this include using images as texture references?

For example, can I say load up a pic of wood paneling, toss that into photoshop as a layer, desaturate, overlay, then turn it into a table?

Similar things have been done. We've talked about it, I think it's still kind of a gray area. Pummel was started to improve drawing skills, not Photomanipulation skills.

please refresh me on the average number of matches one would be involved with (minimum; that is just official matches, not street fights and the like)
I think I've finally broken my self of my perfectionism; and thus am properly geared to commit to pummel; but I wish to know the parameters of what I'm committing to.

Yeah, it's even less that that. You've got the choice of being in the rankings...and to maintain that you must at least do your one ranked monthly match.

Some artists just come in as rogue fighters. Maybe they were ranked at one time, but just want to pop in for the occasional fight.

I have been meaning to ask a question. Since i'm up against someone that likes to draw sequentials this month, whats the take on Mapping out a sequential vs. grabbing some pre-made empty panels?
My style? You could call it the art of drawing.......without drawing.

Some people were asking how the rankings worked out from month to month.. here's an example:

    January
    1. Lee +1(1)
    2. Liefeld -2(4)

    3. McFarlane +1(Drop OUT)
    4. Sylvestri -2(6)

    5. Yu +1(4)
    6. Brooks -2(8)

    7. Adams +1(6)
    8. Land -4 (12)

    February
    1. Lee
    2. Yu

    3. Liefeld
    4. Adams

    5. Sylvestri
    6. Brooks

    7. Land
    8. Wallace

    Win is +1
    Tie is +1
    Loss is -2
    No Show is -4

A tie is decided by pummel win/loss record.

I have a question about my first monthly match. I was up against Solanki and PR Man. I clearly lost to Solanki, but do I count PR Man's no show as a win? Thanks in advance for the clarification.

No. There's only one win in a pummel match, unless there is a winning tie.
