When our piece for the monthly match is finished, do we PM it to the other person or post it up in a new thread?
    cheers

You coordinate that with the person you're dueling with via PM. Establish who'll post the poll and whatnot as well.

New added rules starting in August:

If you no show for a ranked match, you will drop 4 spots in rank. No show twice in a row and you will fall to the bottom of the division, and will have to complete a streetfight to show good faith.

Also a new way to advance in class:

Win 3 street fights against opponents in a higher class, and you advance to the next weight class.

I would like to participate, but am a little confused about what I need to do to start. I have set up my stats spreadsheet, but of course there are no statistics yet. After this, I will set up my thread in the Proving Ground, with my sample with the appeal to be weighed. At this point, that's all I need to do, if I understand correctly. Do I need to post in "P.U.M.M.E.L. Stats and Records" since I'm not yet ready to be in a match or intend yet to qualify for a championship?

You are one the right track. Yes you sholud post there even though you have no stats yet. You can always edit the stats later, once you start pummeling. Just have fun.

Getting your card up is important ... but getting a ranking is a must as well. After you have your ranking piece up in the PG ... you can start streetfighting guys till next months ranked matches come out. By then you should have your rank and be ready to rock and roll.

Spidey: I'm still a little confused. How do I set up the "card"?
