If I hadn't made the rule about cracking down on having tons of placeholders and severely limit the number of panels I'll be doing in the future, I would just make my next panel Samus Aran sitting in the cafeteria sipping a cup of coffee and going "aaah, good stuff."

BTW, I am also extremely excited by what's going on in the Star Fortress!

There's Han & The Major, there is the Star King and M.J., there are ZOMBIES running AMOK(lol), one of which is the cursed body of SAM (the only other character from 25 million years ago that has appeared), and there also happens to be a plethora of other characters like Samus, that mysterious Wu-Tang Samurai, and then there is Vegeta and Bowser stuck in a jail cell.

And correct me if I'm wrong in assuming this, but unless Vegeta and Bowser find an alternate means of escape, aren't they STILL unable to free themselves?
They spoke of both of "the bosses" being killed, right?
Whether the 'Bosses' are Yoda & the Star King, the Star King & M.J., or M.J. & Yoda, the only one that is actually dead is Yoda, so technically, those guys are still unable to escape if they're dependent on two or more bosses being dead.

    Just my two cents.
Nuh UH! Wait. What are we talking about?

I'm just glad the MOFL briefcase is no longer the MacGuffin of the story.

All right, now, about the Webcomic Jam. I'm sorry to have to skip Spidey but it's been two and a half days now and still no thumbnails, so I'm going ahead and post mine.

This is actually based on a comic idea I came up with many years ago. I drew the first couple issues but I never did anything with them because I thought my artwork sucked and the plot got real complicated later on and I wasn't sure how to end it. I've been wanting to do something with it since then but every attempt I make to get it done, I try to plot out the entire series and it gets so convoluted near the end that it makes my brain hurt.

If you've seen this page I did before for a draw-off, it's me redrawing a page from the second issue. The whole story starts off with a dude waking up on a beach on a different planet than Earth, and he doesn't know how he got there. I'm not sticking to my old plan, so anything you guys wanna do with this premise is fine by me.

Spidey or W&U, if this is fine by you then I'll get started.

Oh by the way, if anyone's wondering, I did this thumbnail at 4 inches by 3 and 1/8 inches. That works out to the same size as half a comic page according to my proportion wheel.

Great, I'll get started. Here's a character sheet just so we're all drawing the same guy. Because this is from a comic I attempted to do years ago, I know his name and age and backstory, but I'd prefer to leave all that out so that other people can decide that stuff if they want. The only thing I'll point out is that he has a United States Marine Corps logo on his left shoulder and he is wearing pajamas when we first see him.

    Ok, cool.
Now stop mentioning that he's from something else! He's from the Webcomic Jam. End of story.

Sweet, there's a discussion thread. I didn't know how to comment without posting a placeholder.

I can't believe you killed off Spike in his first appearance (although I did consider that possiblity when I used the words 'Space Cowboy'.)

Also, it might just be me but I always thought that the Star King was Ol' Dirty Bastard in a star costume.

Fine! This is a brand new, never-before-seen character.
