FUSION JAM: Star Trek: The Travels of John Connor

I've got a the first two pages of a draft worked out already.

Basic storyline
-Enterprise docks in an orbiting station above earth,
-Boarded by Terminators
-Skynet Virus attack ship's systems through docking station and slowly begins to convert the Enterprise using the staions nano-tech.

-John Connor shows up with the solution (destroy station's mainframe)
-Virus corrupts nanotech in sickbay, which starts to infect and assimilate crew members and John Connor
-Connor realizes that he can't destroy the station, and that they are booting up for a time jump.
-Enterpise disconnects from dock just in time.
-The station jumps to a random time/place (future?) as a fledgling new race of Borg.

I should have an 8-page draft done by tomorrow

Great. so lets' GREENLIGHT the concept, and look for a first draft over the next few days.

I was hoping it would be on the ground. By having the story take place in the ship it kinda limits the experimentation with backgrounds. Most will draw generic BG's with boxes and faux tech. Know whatta mean.

Gotta agree with airbrushartist. The last two jams have been in pretty non-descript locations. Wolvie/Alien in the sewer mostly and Supes/Goku in the air or on a square fighting area.

Do you guys haveany plausible idea as to why/how Terminators could transport through time/dimensions, to another planet?

Obviously this is not in continuity, so what if the terminators ether won or lost the war with man. I guess lost makes more sense and they left earth as a last ditch effort to establish a base on another planet to regroup and rebuild. And John Connor follows them to finnish them off. As for how, they figured out time travel, why not space travel?
Just an Idea.

Well its simple time capsule. Skynet creates a time capsule implanted deep in the earths core then erases its memory of it. Its programed to return century's after its buried.

When it awakes its in a world where Skynet has been defeated. Space travel is a normal part of life. This isn't the time of Star Trek though similar. Its one program is to gather information and then return to skynet in order for them to reproduce that tech.

Now while gathering information it stumbles on this realities "Borg". Who because of the war with Skynet was easily squished into submission. He finds one and has them infect him with the borg's nanobot s or what ever they use to infect people and change them. Being a Terminator he's already a machine with bio matter over top of him.

He would then gather all the information he needs to return to his time and change time. Only problem he doesn't get sent through time. He gets sent into a parallel world. The world of Stark Trek TOS. He ends up on the enterprise. With the knowledge he has. He infects the computers. Takes control of the ship and takes it back to his world and his time. Since the Tech is more advanced then what TOS crew is used to.

Now the ship is docked onto a Skynet Space Station or satellite. The reason for the ship to be docked is so that Skynet to retrieve the information that their terminator was sent to get. Completely altering events in his world with the tech of their future and now TOS future.

Just an idea of a backstory.

I should have a script or two up in the next two days. I'm bouncing between writing two or three versions at the same time, so I'll post them all and see which y'all like best.
