We have an opening in the first round of the tournament, 50%gray had to back out due to an upcoming move. If one of you wants to take his place on short notice, let me know. Otherwise, Johnny Blaque will get a 1st round bye.

so outta curiosity when are you(dfbovey) gonna start polls for rogue weight classification....also,props to you on a great idea that is bringing lots of memebers together to challenge and improve themselves....my hats off to you

Hmm I think that maybe you could start the polling on wieght classification whenever some one announces themselves to want to be in pummel, that way, you wont have all the polls going at once, And if there is another drop out, you can pull a replacement from a similar weight class easily, just a thought. of course the ranking matches would have to wait, but least you got an idea whats goin on.

Yeah, I suppose it doesn't really matter when these things take place. If anyone is ready to go now, follow Kris's example.

When you set your poll, make sure you set it as a public poll and have it run for 3 days. That should be sufficient to determine your weight class.

Wait. Does being a rogue fighter mean that you are not in the normal ranking poll for the P.U.M.m.E.L. league?

Or is this a secondary poll for all those who missed the initial sign up and are trying to get involved and ranked so that they can then be integrated into the regular rankings (albeit, near the bottom since we got in on it late) or am I confused somehow?

Rogues are just people who didn't register in time for the tournament and want to participate when the tournament is over.

In order to do that, you need to be placed in a weight class. If you want to, follow Kris Diaz's lead, choose a piece of work that best represents what you do. Post it in a voting thread in the main arena section with 3 options. Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. Based on whatever has the most votes, you will be placed at the bottom of that class once the monthly matches start (after the tournament).

If you want to participate in street fights to pass the time, it's encouraged. Street fights count towards your win-loss record. Let's say both your and Kris Diaz get voted into the same class. Whoever has the best record would start off with a higher ranking.
