Enjoying both pieces! Edge to Deth, not for the colors, but for the dynamic angle he took. It would look good in black and white as well as color! I really like Gadget's shot, but I've seen better from him! (and that's saying alot)

Hmm... my thoughts on this:

I think if people want to do that for street fights, that's fine. I don't think it's necessary though. I've seen people with fantastic line art ruin their pieces with color. So I don't think it's a given that it's an advantage to have color.

I think ranked matches should be anything goes... do the best you can do in the time frame given. If you can do kick ass colors within the time given and that's one of your strengths as an artist, use it to your advantage.

Color ,maybe not as much. BUT what about homages? I saw one landslide victory on a homage in a streetfight.

Anyhoo..
I voted for Deth's. Not because it was coloured but it seemed more
appealing in terms of lines and technique although there is some
proportional issues with DD. I like Gadget's, but even though Bullseye
is a crazy SOB, his expression in the art threw me off.

These are very solid pieces in any case. Good work guys.

I didn't really notice the difference until I read the comments... That is to say I didn't realize Gadget's wasn't colored.... it definitely held it's own.
