Wow. Every project of yours is more and more impressive.
This has the potential of turning into one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
But you should correct something while you still can: the height of the mask (top of the head to the bottom of chin) is too long with respect to the width (front to back). A human skull (and by extension a mask or a full head helmet) in profile fits approximately into a square, so the height should just about match the width. Doom's mask might be a little taller than its width, but not by much.
I can't wait to see more of this!

I think you'd probably have some success selling off the cardboard template. They'll buy anything on Ebay.
But I'd love to see it in steel. Too bad though that in steel it could only be a show-piece, since it would be too heavy to function very well as an actual helmet. Now that would be really cool, as long as you didn't put it on while it was still hot and melt your face to it.

I was going to say exactly the same as chia.
It's very tall and thin....
Looks like an exciting project though

Looking forward to how this turns out. Would be a great one for Halloween with some lights inside... and a green hood, of course.

I can't WAIT to see how this turns out.
Judging by the Thing steel project you did, this should turn out great.
