    Inking Pitt Brush Pens

How do they compare with the Sakura brush pens? Are they basically the same? I've found that the Sakura pens don't last very long....are the Pitt pens the same way?

they are alright. the ink isnt black enough for me so i bought a jar of speedball super black and just dip them in that. the pen tips themselves fray way too fast. its basically like using a sharpie that has a bendy tip.

Similar but Pitt pens have better ink and you can pull out the tips and flip them to get more use out of them. They have an almost cult following.

Eh, They suck. Why use a cheap facsimile when I can just use the real thing. Only use they have is for sketching and filling in blacks if even that.

But you get similar effects without the mess and for cheaper.

I like them better than Sakura pens. They also seem to last longer.

Pitts and Sakuras aren't, Trias are, but that's not the point.

Unlike a real brush, you can put them in your pocket and use them anywhere.

In the case of Pitts, you can take an xacto to them for interesting effects.
