Just in this piece alone, and it is just a sketch, you demonstrate a very good command of composition, at a level that most people (including seasoned veterans) struggle with.
If you take this away because you think you waste too much time on the internet, you are not only taking away from yourself, and your ability to grow on communities like Penciljack and others, but you are also taking away from people that might benefit from seeing your work.
Your decision seems to me like cutting your nose to spite your face. Just dont watch youtube crap any more. As you know, it is almost always a waste of time. Or look for the videos that relate to your craft (and there are many): like tutorials, speed paints and such.
There is more than plenty stuff on the internet to either spend the rest of your life watching skateboarding dogs or spend it in a neverending quest to learn everything about your craft. The decision is yours, but if you take away the internet, you take away everything that is good about it too.
Just sign up for a few dozen art sites and forums and get addicted and you will be out of your funk in no time!
