Thor lost his hammer after fighting Mags in the savage land in Ultimates 3.
I read some of the build-ups for this (Ultimate Origins, Ultimate Captain America), and I'm intrigued. Kinda dissapointed that Magneto's leading the charge for the "Crisis on Ultimate Earth," but I guess it makes sense, considering. Though I have to ask; what's he doing with regular Thor's hammer?
Thoughts?

Anybody want to provide a more thorough review?

Yeah, but it wasn't the ULTIMATE version of the hammer. It was the plain ol' cement brick-on-a-stick-looking hammer.
The artwork wasn't all that bad, even for Finch. This issue was nothing but establishment for what's to come next, which is common with Loeb's books. Hopefully, the story won't stretch-out to the point that everything has to get wrapped-up with a nice bow in the last 2 pages of the final issue (like his Superman/Batman or Hush stories).
My worry is Loeb will use this book to turn the Ultimate universe into a mirror of the regular continuity.
Hey MAD! drew the thing regular style, blame him, but that was Ultimate Thor's mjolnir in Ultimates 3.
Is that like how Ultimate Wasp magically went from being asian to a redhead?
I've seen better artwork from FINCH, but this wasn't half bad. I thought it was a decent comic book.
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
Finch actually stepped up his artwork for Ultimatum 1 but the second issue was just normal Finch artwork. The story is good ut I don't think Jeph Loeb was the perfect choice to write. Mark Millar, one of the founding fathers of the Ultimate Universe, should be responsible for destroying it.
haven't followed this arc. I tend not follow anything other the U-X-Men so when i actually picked up issue 99 and read what happened I was like WTF. They killed beast again. AGAIN. Seriously get over killing off characters that are supposed to be ALIVE. They axed Nightcrawler and Dazzler. Why?
Still though Flipping through the pages its not even an xmen comic its more so Alpha Flight. Which I enjoyed a lot and having John Wraith as the Vindicator nice. THen the rest Sabertooth and Juggs.
I have to saying killing off Juggs was stupid even though Ultimate Juggs is well stupid. It just marvel putting the Ultimate U through the same arc with new scenarios its been doing for the past ten years.
For once I wish Magneto didn't do some major overly i'm gonna blow up the world thing.
Though This issue didn't really deal with Ultimatium other then a group of humans tring to kill mutants again. This time wearing sentinal gear. Running around blowing people away and well hoping to die themselves.
