all good entries, but it came down between carlos and brokenhill. i went with brokenhill because he picked a character you wouldnt normally think of with kirby. but a great job by carlos and everyone else! that wolverine pic is very ink-able.

That Hellboy is just awesome. My vote goes to Paulo_P.

Paulo_P for the win. Hellboy was a nice choice, especially since Mignola is very much influenced by Kirby at times.

Runner up to Jedi, because he nailed all the Kirby trademarks. Dramatic forshortening? Check. Shiny Metal? Check. Bizarre technology? Check. Kirby Crackle? Check.

Nice job all around though - this is a great little draw-off.

Yup, I'm going with Jedi as well. for hitting the hallmarks of Kirby like a Jenny craig convention at a vegas buffet.

Paulo might have toppled him but he missed some things. Definetly needed some crackle in there somewhere, and i'm not sure Kirby ever used any hatching. So it threw the look off.

Thanks for the comments -- I tried to incorporate everything Kirby I could think of. You couldn't have known, but also "drawn with Kirby quickness on Sunday afternoon after finding out about this cool draw-off".
