Thanks Hof! I've been doing work for Catalyst Game Labs - doing Battletech and Shadowrun illustrations. And the new gig is a 22 page monthly from an indy company - just getting started on that. I don't know how much I'm allowed to divulge so I'll leave it at that for now. I also have The Pet Avenger, published in Petpalooza Magazine and posted on their website:

Plus I have some other freelance gigs - I've been late on my latest one because of all the new comic work and my work space has changed considerably. It's messed with my schedule so I've had less time to draw and I've been focusing on the long-term gigs. It's been an exciting year!

Walril, giving up a 6fig income to pursue comics is a personal choice. Do you love what you do? Will you love doing comics? It seems like you already made your career choice. You have the means to take your time to just do an Image pitch. Work on one. I, on the other hand, need a solid job that I love. My heart is in it 110%. When there is doubt, there is no doubt. You have doubts my friend.

Great piece of advice Alex. Your "when there is doubt, there is no doubt" quote is one I believe in and use freqently with my Team.

BoS: I picked that line up from Ronin, the DeNiro movie. It stuck. And thanks!

Spidey: I do too, but I can't seem to just pencil that way. I always go nuts shading everything. It's kinda my inking crutch - leaving the open areas. I'll find a way to use it someday.
