Just a prelim for art I am contributing to a video my friends and I are shootings. I'm not sure exactly how this will end up contributing, but it will find its way in. I haven't had time to ink it yet, but I'm hoping that fixes the facial foibles that are going on.

Interesting note. I drew this while in Chicago at Lollapalooza, watching Gnarles Barkley, waiting for Kanye West to come on. (also partially drawn while watching Flogging Molly)

Nice rendering. I am surprised this hasn't received comments by now. The face is weak (I know details are coming) but still the overall structure is weak. I look forward to seeing the progress of this piece. Again I really like your rendering style on this.

The thumb holding the bag looks broken - bent too far in.

wow, can't believe I didn't notice the thumb thing before. Definitely right.

Got any suggestions for how to approach the face to make it less weak? I know that question is almost impossible to answer, but I'm just curious if I can prompt any pearls of wisdom out of you guys.

Looks really good! I dig it. Only thing that I noticed, besides the thumb thing, is that the face to the right looks a bit flat and stiff.
