Well, I guess we can officially call this thing a bust.
I never heard from Acosby. Oh well, no hard feelings.
Here's what I came up with.

Sorry, I only just noticed the due date now and have been rather busy. I've only got a couple of hours worth of inking to do on mine to finish it (sory, I'm a slow inker), but I'm going out of town for two weeks. I can send it to you when I get back.

Hmm...
I have a bit of time this morning. If I can get it finished this morning I'll have my wife mail it while I'm gone, but its unlikely.
I'll Pm my address to you and you can Pm me yours as I haven't got yours either.

No, man. It's ok. You keep yours and I'll keep mine and we'll call it done.
I'm not saying that to be a jerk but honestly I'm burnt out with these things. It's not your fault. It's a culmination of years on this site and having the same thing happen every time.
I was busy too. Everybody is. But we had a month long deadline to do a pinup. That should be doable. If it isn't then don't sign up. Or if you're going to run late because of unforeseen circumstances then at least ask for a little more time.
I'm not mad, I've just had a gutt full of people committing and then not following through.

Well I have the dang thing 90% done and I really didn't know about the deadline. To be honest when I hadn't heard from you I thought you were flakin' on it so I just back burnered it.
I will be back home in two weeks and I will finish it when I return because I really do like the pic I've done and want to complete it.

Not much more to say at the moment I guess, so I'll just post it in two weeks when I get back and if you still want to swap thats great and if not I'm Ok with that too.

I probably won't be back on PJ until I return as I am on dial up here and its taken me fiften minutes just to load this and one other page that doesn't even have pics in it.

So I'll talk to you then.

Lol. It's in the first post in big, bold, black letters. It was there when you committed to doing this thing.

First of all, on the fifth ( three days before the deadline ) I posted this:
Yo Acosby,

In this very thread. So you did hear from me, everybody able to read this message board heard from me.
Second of all, I hadn't heard from you either. It's a two way street. But unlike you, I didn't assume that you had flaked, instead I made sure I knew when the deadline was, did my drawing and then took the initiative to contact you to let you know I would be finished and to ask for your address.
Me not contacting you has exactly zero to do with you missing the deadline. I won't take any of the blame for what you did or didn't do.
I want to apologize again for you taking the brunt of what's been several of these things going exactly the same way. I'm not mad at you just frustrated. Maybe a little miffed at you shifting some of the blame over to me but not angry.
I'm pretty much done, so I'm glad you're finishing your pic but I'm not interested in trading them anymore.
