Summer Commission swap

I figured it would be fun to do another swap like Xadrian's sketchbook swap a couple of years ago. But instead of an entire sketchbook I say we have a commission swap.
Here's what I'm thinking.

Sign up starts now and ends on Friday Aug. 15th at 12:00 a.m central standard time. If you want in just reply in this thread.

Once the sign up is over, I'll stick all the names in a hat and draw them out to get the match ups.
I'll list the partners in this thread and then the drawing can commence.

Talk to each other and treat it just like you're dealing with a customer. I.E. Ask what character they want , what kind of scene it should be, what kind of background etc.


I'm thinking pencils or full inks. No color unless the person drawing it wants to color. If at all possible , size should be 11x17 and on art board. (Not a hard and fast rule but it would be nice if the "customer" had something to display if they want)

Get each others address' and mail 'em to the new owner.


Deadline for finished art is Monday Sept. 8th



This next part has to be said. If you sign up, FOLLOW THROUGH WITH AN ACTUAL DRAWING. I won't harp to much but I can't count how many of these things I've been involved in where people put hard work into it and got nothing in return.

If , for some reason, your partner doesn't follow through, let me know and I'll draw one for you myself.

Kind of a short deadline. I'm in but it would be better if there was a week added to the deadline. Most artists who do commissions I've seen ask for at least three weeks to complete.

I threw the names in a hat tonight and here's how it shakes out:
Morg and Fatman swap commissions.


Me and Acosby swap commissions.

Now just pm/e-mail each other with your commission specifics and we'll get rolling.

Post up your stuff here when it's done if you want, I'd like to see what everybody comes up with.
