looks really good, I like the large big black border for some reason. I still need to figure out how to use gutters to my advantage but for some reason it makes it very dramatic. You also have a very dramatic line quality.

One thing i notice is panel 5 ....the penclier and colorist welll...he's Eyes are glowing so that would change the way shadow is cast. Small gripe but nice line quality

Your coloring is excellent. However, it seems like you have a lot of solid black shadow. This isn't a bad thing but you're outside in daylight. So probably needs work on your use of light sources (particularly the first few panels of the first page).

I also think that you do like I do and make too many folds in the clothes, particularly second panel first page. Like over inking there.

On your final splash page I think having the woman and the bird and the scene of destruction may be too busy and doesn't really have a focal point.

Now, that aside you're stuff is really good and I LOVE YOUR COLORING. Please don't think I'm trying to be harsh, keep it up .

The art looks great, very pro quality. Did you do all of the inks, coloring, etc?

I'm not feeling the slightly skewed gutters on page 2. They don't feel intentional, and I don't think they add anything to the story telling. If anything, the angle of the gutter should be tilted the other direction (also a little more dramatically) for the flow of his 'magic'.
    I should get on that...

The first page has a nice sense of scale and depth.

    Wow!

Thanks guys! I mean it! It's really cool to hear what you're saying. I am an still trying to get the hang of reading a script and following the sense of the scene. For instance, the eyes glowing should change the shadows and in the second page the guys' jacket is render in and then the next panel it isn't. I walk away from my pages so much I really see it all together.

    Thanks again, more coming soon.

I assume that means they shot it down. But why I question? Either: A. They were on crack.
or B. The art was awesome but the story is about drug dealing pandas (hell even that sounds awesome).

    Looks good to me...
Just curious, what did they say was wrong with it? or did they not respond at all?
