The Leaked Spirit Trailer

W...T...F?!?! The more I see of this the more bizarre it looks. On the other hand, the more bizarre it gets, the more I wanna see it, 'cause it's gonna be crazy or fuggin' trainwreck. Either way I'll be entertained

The trailer looked like a James Bond intro.

Samuel L. Jackson is such a one-note actor now. I have to admit, it's the point where he ruins movies for me. What was once cool is no longer. Like soooo 10 years ago.

This is what I was talking about, btw. Waiting for an actual trailer with shots from the actual film.

It really does look like Sin City: The Spirit.

I would have hoped that Frank Miller would have had more respect for the source material than this. Disappointment reigns.

He's not a ladykiller. Women want him, but he's pretty chaste.

I don't know, I guess Eisner might like it... he was always pretty practical about his characters and he let other people do interpretations of 'em all the time, but still... this one isn't shaping up to be my favorite.

And who the heck is "Lorelei"? He's got Plaster of Paris in there (when The Spirit is tied up and the woman is dancing around him, that's straight from a classic story), but I don't recall a Lorelei. 'Course, I ain't read every Spirit story, just a couple hundred of 'em...
