    Aging beauty

Just something I scratched out in my notepad today using a blue biro, I'm at that stage where I'm not sure how to feel about this sketch,

This sketch is a result of me experimenting with aging faces, thus this sketch is meant to be of a fundamentally beautiful yet aged woman, around 45-50 years old,

let me know what you think

It looks like her face is a little low but I'm not sure where the top of her skull is because of the hair.

As far as aging goes, basically just add another crease under her eyes and the laugh lines. That should help a little bit. Maybe somebody with more experience than me knows something else.

To me, should looks tired and drug addicted rather than 'old'.

She's like the version of Anna Nicole Smith you'd see embarrassing herself by getting drunk and rolling about mindlessly.

So, for me, you've achieved drunk, drugged and chubby rather than 'ageing'.

Good job keeping your pencils (pens) loose on this piece. You should do more more more!

I do however agree that she looks a bit stoned/drunk.
