A Whole lot of Bad
I've never really did one of these things so I thought I'd show you guys my version of Petey and Spidey. I'm a big fan of the Super Dorko Peter Parker from the early 60's more then the modern cool ass Petey of today. To me the Geek Pete was the ultimate mask. No one ever suspects a friendless braniac loser with a hunch to be the super strong, wall crawling, web swinging hero. I wanted to elongate his porportion and give him very lanky figure. This look to me sort of makes him look more "SPIDER" like when he pops on the suit. Anyways...Tell me what ya think of my version fellow devs.

I like this take on the character, but there are some things about the actual drawing that I feel lets it down.
– The lower half of the the mask is off. The straight lines of the web should come down either side of his nose and chin (like so) and not down the center.
– The modelling on the head is odd. Doesn't really define the shape correctly.
– I'd tone down the highlight on the black part of the left eye of the mask, or use a similar highlight on the right eye, or just lose it altogether. It looks inconsistent as is, especially when the white of the right eye has a highlight, even in shadow.
– The red holds don't really work against the blue fills. Use a darker, less saturated blue. That should also help separate Spidey's torso from his right arm. The highlight you're using doesn't work, since the established light source is on the opposite side.
– The webbing on Spidey's left hand is unfinished.
– The right boot is missing the webbing, and the less saturated color doesn't fit with the rest of the scheme.
– It's SpiderhyphenMan.
Everything else I dig, especially the look for Peter.
I feel that a mixture of Warren Ellis Clark Kent and Cris Reeve's portrayal of him in the Superman films to be the best disguise. When you mix that up you get a clumsy, head sunked between the shoulders, Bowlegged, slightly stuttering, might of been a nerd in highschool, cowardly Clark. I not only see the confident exterior when he puts on the red, blue and yellow tights but sort of a exhale. The chance for him to breath and be himself. To me Superman is truly who he is.
I could be wrong though...tell me what your thoughts are guys and what ya think.

I really like what you've done, but both Spiderman and Spidey seem a little short, no? Supes for instance is here roughly six heads tall, whereas he's supposed to be a larger than life character, nearly godlike.
I guess it's a stylistic choice, but it seems odd to me. The rest is kickin'!
All crits aside, these are some great stylized versions, very refreshing. I do agress about supes looking a little stubby.
Loving this unique approach. Peter Parker looks a little too old that's my only crit.
Great Job!!!
