    Who's reading Powers?

Just thought I start a thread to ask the title question and then rave about the title a bit.
This is by far the best Superhero/Crime book on the market. The Art is always consitant and the story just keeps getting better and better.

    Who else is reading this?
What do you think of the art?
What do you think of the story and the characters?

Are you fans of Bendis or Oeming or both?

Talk to me peeps lets have a discussion.

Would you like to start off the discussion with some specific talking points? A review including specific reasons why it is "the best Superhero/Crime book on the market" perhaps? Usually, the more specific the topic of discussion presented the more feedback you will get over general questions.

    Thanks,

    Bendis All The Way!!!

    I'm a fan of Bendis!

I'm actually GN behind the series since I'm usually too busy to check on amazon, and by the time I do get to the comic I'm usually on the back ordered waiting list.

I like how the story lines crafted in such a way that they're related to each other on a grander scale of things which definitely sets things up to get pretty interesting pretty fast. IE that whole arc about his partner getting her 'powers' (yeah pun intended) and how she copes with it all. And that story arc was running con-current with the story line of our hero taking Calista under his wing and teaching her the ropes in the 'Legends' story arc.

    Thumbs up

Tops on my pull list. This is the only book that just gets better and better with time. It literally jolts you EVERY time you read it, not the lame way most superhero books do, no "next issue somebody dies!!" crap either, hell, they just die here, no warning. Powers is full of great twists and turns and the characters are really fleshed out. This is a great book that still has plot twist being uncovered from 5-6 issues back. The writing is simply superb and has it all, action, mystery, humor, horror, sex, drugs, drama, cuss words, love, and of course super powered hero's and villians, oh and cops too and that describes just ONE issue.
