Dragon Ball Draw-off

Hey there PJers. In my Gogeta commish thread there was talk of having another DBZ drawoff, so here it is!

Rules
Draw any 1 to 5 characters from Dragon Ball, DBZ or DBGT in a one shot pin-up fashion, Collage or whatever. But however, you must draw them in your own style (i.e. draw the character how you would draw Superman or Wolverine and not in the cartoons exact style) and still have them recognizable as Goku, Vegeta or whoever. Any entries done exactly in the Dragon Ball, DBZ or DBGT style will not be included, I want to see your interpretation of the characters.

Background strongly encouraged, but not required.

Medium
Any traditional materials acceptable, nothing digitial.
That means you can pencil it, ink it, paint it, color it with markers, colored pencils, pastels but you can't digitially ink it, paint it, photoshop it or color it.

Deadline

November 10th at 11:59 PM central time.

LOL ... Sadman I was going to see about posting something to this affect in a little bit ... lol. I think the only suggestions that I would make abou he rules are

A) Peoples choice of characters don't necessarily have to make sense (i.e. You could have more then one version of Goku if you include fusions I think he alone has 9 different forms) as some of the fused characters would be cool to do or comparisons to differents forms and

B) If someones style tends towards an anime type of style then I don't think it would be right to disqualify them from the competition because their work will be closer to the DBZ style. That could be checked easily enough by simply looking at their past posts.

I have actually been thinking about a piece along these lines so I think that this will be a lot of fun ... cool suggestion Sadman

I didn't say you couldn't draw different versions of a character or if it had to make sence I said have 3 to 5 characters, and along the lines of a person having an anime style, thats fine as long as the drawing doesn't look ripped from the TV screen, if you get my drift. For future reference (and this goes to everyone) treat my rule postings like a legal document, pure black and white. If you see a loophole, I likely intended for it to be there. Don't ask questions just follow the rules I posted. I can't get upset with you for not following the rules if you followed what they said, so don't be nervous or confused wondering "does he mean this or that" and instead show some initiative and decide for yourself. If that sounded harsh I apologize, dealing with a lot of crap lately. But I do mean it, use those loopholes to your advantage PJers.

Hey Sadman

Okay ... no worries ... I just thought I would ask the questions that i thought would be asked by others before they asked ... and people got started ... or got their noses bent out of joint because they have an anime style. As I said I was going to post a thread ... and I am a teacher by trade ... so the first things I thought of was the "loopholes" ... and how to address them. As for you goioing through a rough time ... m8 ... I hope everything is okay ... and I wish you the best.

cant wait to post on this one. i actually sketched a couple the other day while i was watching the king piccolo saga. also might post a couple from my DA account (even though they're old-- and none are actually a team pinup)
