Interesting, I didn't realize it was such a split.
I watch both and Lost is the better show. Regardless of how they've strung us along for so long, it's better written and acted.
I've noticed something about two shows on TV. It seems that if you watch one of the shows you cant watch the other. Now I know Im sure there are those that do watch both but for the most part I have noticed the first.
So I ask which show is better to you?
Do you watch both?
please tell why.

I gave up on Heroes halfway through the first season. I'm still sticking with Lost, though.
I never know when Lost is on so... I just watch Heroes.
I tried to watch Heroes but it was just too boring for me. Maybe it's a big sensation because the "regular" public isn't used to storylines like this one but to an old fanboy like me it's been done plenty of times before.
As for Lost, well, you bastards got me hooked on it and now I have to see it through.
This season it's sixteen episodes in a row. Last season they had six episodes in a row, then seventeen episodes in a row. I know the frequent breaks they would take between episodes was frustrating, but it hasn't been a problem since season two.
I think LOST is pretty much crap. I don't like any of the characters, and it drags on forever. Just when I start to get excited about something on there, they dissapoint me the next episode. My friends used to come over to watch it with my wife and I, and they'd get angry from me making fun of it. I can pretty much gauge whats going to happen on the show by just saying the opposite of what my friends think is going to happen.
I give it a 3 out of ten.
Alias got a 1 on the same scale.
It's not your fault, it's mine, because I forgot you are stupid.
What if I don't watch either of them?
I gave up on "Heroes." It had the potential to be a really cool show but sufferred from many shortfalls including slow pacing and character inconsistencies. The final straw was that last battle with Sylar and Peter at the end of last season. It was beyond bad --- especially when shows from no-budget networks like Buffy or Angel have kick ass battles every episode.
As for "Lost," I've never seen it but I plan on renting the first season from Netflix when I get the chance.
