well, Leonidas HIMSELF would get teh pwnt by everyone else. plus i hated how he screamed all the time, instead of calm and cool like in the comic. so i vote Ben

Have you ever been in combat? Or even simulated combat? It tends to involve a lot of yelling.

What are you talking about? I play Call of Duty 4 all the time, that's like combat simulation. It's always calm until one of your teammates starts firing rockets at you before you leave the spawn and you can do is yell at him for- oh wait...

Well i loved the Original 300 spartan movie. But Classics man so it went between Spar and Ben I had to go with Ben.

Yeah, not quite the same - playing a video game, compared to having a real weapon in your hands. Also, if you're in a large group, and want to communicate to all of them over the din of battle, you need to be loud.

If we are talking army vs army, the Spartans win.

If anything, "300" does not do ENOUGH to show how good Spartans were in the field. They were drilled so thoroughly they could move 3000 men as one. Armies twice their size would sometimes quit the field of battle when they realized a Spartan regiment was among the enemy ranks.

300 looks cool and portrays the Spartan warrior as some kind of "martial artist" and I am sure that they were formidable individual warriors but the secret to Spartan military might was teamwork, endless hours of training and drilling, and the knowledge that they WERE the best.

In terms of efficiency, they would STILL be ranked among the most elite military organizations ever.
